11/20/2023 0 Comments Metalfoes electrumThe Pendulum effect is decent, but still just all over the place. Anyway, being 8 on the Pendulum scale is also a good thing. Honestly I always felt this should be a standard effect for Pendulums and maybe even reciprocated. Being placed in the Pendulum Zone if destroyed while in the Monster Zone IS a good thing. There’s just better, easier, more efficient ways to go about destroying your opponent’s cards. Either you’re using PMF Fusion to bring something out you needed those cards face up where they are for (better use of your cards) or you’re giving up TWO of them just to destroy one card. Shuffling two face up Pendulum Monsters from your Extra Deck back to the Main Deck lets you Target and destroy an opponent’s card. Fire/Psychic, 2500/2000 on a Level 8 is a little low (when this thing has Dark Magician level support, you can call me a hypocrite) and Fusion Summon requires a Theme Monster as well as a Fusion. It’s a Pendulum/Fusion to close the week in Parametalfoes Azortless. It’s nothing insane, but it’s a nice disruption piece to clear the opponent’s board alongside Mithrilium.Īrt: 4.5/5 It’s an interesting design, which most the Metalfoes Fusions are in comparison to most of their Main Deck. Overall, Azortless is a decent new Fusion to add to the Metalfoes pool. If you don’t want it in the Extra Deck when it’s destroyed, you can instead place it in the Pendulum Zone, since it would have to get there somehow for the Pendulum Effect. Nice effect that can be used over and over again due to a Pendulum Summon if you get this in the Extra Deck, even if it is a hard once per turn. Upon being Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, whether via a Fusion or Pendulum Summon, you can target any card the opponent controls to destroy it if you shuffle 2 face-up Pendulum Monsters in the Extra Deck to the Deck. At least using Mithrilium as material gets you a revive or you can just use Alkahest as material and destroy the opponent’s monster you equipped to it. The Fusion Materials are any Metalfoes monster and any Fusion, so it’s easy to do in Metalfoes, even if it does ask for a little investment. Okay stats for Level 7, and I do still like FIRE/Psychic. It’s a hard once per turn effect, as you’d expect as well.Īs a monster, Azortless is a Level 7 FIRE Psychic Fusion with 2500 ATK and 2000 DEF. Sucks the card you destroy has to be face-up, but those are common enough to where you should have something to destroy. Again, another Pendulum Effect to synergize with the standard Pendulum Effect of your main Metalfoes monsters. The Pendulum Effect is if a Metalfoes card(s) you control is destroyed via a card effect, except during the Damage Step, you can target a face-up card on the field and destroy it. The week ends off with something I would of expected Metalfoes to get sooner, a Pendulum Fusion, but here we are with Parametalfoes Azortless.Īzortless as a Pendulum Scale is a Scale 8, which is a fine high-scale to have. Note as well that Azortless’s cycle back 2 to pop 1 happens off a Special Summon from the Extra Deck…so when it gets Pendulum Summoned it will do that each time, ensuring you’ll have Pendulum Monsters in the Main Deck and give you a free pop for your trouble. Azortless taking itself to the Pendulum Zone when destroyed as a monster eliminates any hassle you’d have in getting to that Pendulum Effect. We’ve previously mentioned how easy it is for Metalfoes to go through a copy each of their Pendulum Normal Monsters without the help of other effects, meaning you’ll have the fodder needed to pop an opponents card. Cycling back face-up Pendulum Monsters in your Extra Deck to pop a card your opponent controls can help recoup some resources in case you’ve run short on Pendulum Monsters. Instant Fusion is the easiest route alongside any Fusion Spell you may use for the archetype. This works with getting an extra blowup on your side to search/retrieve, or can be used to gain advantage on the field against your opponent.Īs a monster, you’ll need a Fusion Monster alongside a Metalfoes to summon it. This kind of destruction is done willingly by the archetype and shouldn’t be hard to trigger, so enjoy poping a face-up card on the field. Parametalfoes Azortless is the newest Fusion Monster for the Metalfoes archetype and the reason lore wise being their new fusion spell.Īs a Pendulum card, Azortless gets you a nice 1-for-1 off a Metalfoes card destruction as long as it’s face-up.
